Cynthia Ghosn, Psy.D. Candidate
Making the decision to enter therapy can feel difficult and it is with great appreciation and compassion that I welcome individuals to take this step in their lives. I work to cultivate a safe, compassionate and empathetic space with my clients by being intently present in order to aid the client in pursuing their goals in a warm and personable atmosphere. My approach focuses on working with clients to alleviate distressful symptoms that the client is experiencing that may be inhibiting progress in their personal or professional lives. With unconditional support, building awareness and focusing on the mind-body interactions, we can notice the value and importance of our emotions, thoughts and behaviors that affect our health and well-being.
My educational background includes a Bachelor in Science of Psychology and I am currently matriculated in a Clinical Psychology Doctorate program between the UAE and the USA at the Meridian University in California. At the same time, through my DHA-license in Dubai, and in collaboration with highly experienced and multi-specialty supervisors in the mental health field I am developing clinical experience and working therapeutically with teenagers, young adults and adults.
