Dr. Elif Celebi
I am an experienced psychotherapist with a genuine passion for helping individuals feel less anxiety and stress so they can develop confidence and thrive in their personal and professional relationships.
I believe the most compassionate thing I can do as a therapist is to help my clients reach their ultimate goals and dreams in life.
In my sessions, my focus is on providing practical skills and strategies to create a positive and long-term change. Specifically, I use emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness, interpersonal relationship skills, self-care and distress tolerance skills to balance acceptance and change.
In my various professional training sites, I have become skilled in evidence based psychological assessment and intervention with a strong emphasis on the scientist-practitioner model. Prior to joining Thrive, I have worked as an Associate Professor of Psychology for 10 years.
