I love my work and the various opportunities I have to serve others. As a uniquely positioned, doctoral-level psychologist with over 20 years of clinical practice and distinguished training and qualifications within a global community, I take my credentials as a clinician, consultant, and leader very seriously, applying my highest regard for science, ethics, and professionalism with every person or organization I work with.
At Thrive, I support patients and clients with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical challenges, such as anxieties (i.e., OCD, performance, phobias), depression, emotional-behavioral dysregulation, relationship struggles, communication & social skills, parenting, and general personal growth and self-esteem. I am a firm believer in the growth mindset and peak performance, as it applies to maximizing potential within individual, families, and organizations.
My eclectic approach includes strong foundations in Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Family Systems, and Humanistic therapies, as I aim to target intervention based on the individual needs and preferences of each client.
My qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from APA-accredited and top-tier programs in the US. My extended post-doctoral training in child and pediatric psychology through the University of Miami and University of Toronto’s esteemed hospital organizations, further specialized my work in child and family development. As a life-long student aspiring towards my own personal balance and global citizenship, I always look forward to compassionately contributing my expertise within my community settings, as well as learning further, through my diverse and multi-national patients and clients, the rewards of quality service and collaborative “teamwork”.
