Raneem Nageeb, M.A.
As a third culture kid and a Saudi female raised in the US, I recognize the importance of culturally sensitive psychotherapy. This approach takes into consideration an individual’s culture, religion, generation, and upbringing as all of these add another layer to mental wellbeing. For that reason, I use a multi-cultural and solution-focused therapeutic approach to guide individuals through their challenges, find clarity, and cultivate more fulfilling lives.
I am trained in Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) which I often integrate with individuals facing adverse life events. I have worked in various settings including community mental health, residential treatment, higher education, and private practice.
An empathetic and judgment-free environment is crucial in order to gain insight, welcome new perspectives, improve coping skills, and begin healing. My goal is to provide just that, while taking into account your unique needs and goals for therapy.
