Dr. Marina Hakimian
Dr. Marina supports people of all ages and walks of life. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, parents, and adults more generally. Her broad scope of practice means that she is able to support parents on their journey, adolescents discovering/exploring who they are, and young children understanding and processing their emotions. No matter who she sees, Dr. Marina works through a compassionate lens and incorporates the therapeutic approaches that are most helpful for each situation.
Dr. Marina has rich and varied training and experience. For example, she has supported children, adolescents, and their families for many years with learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, and social and emotional issues. She also has a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which means that she has insight into the strengths and challenges of corporate life, for the individual as well as the organization overall. As such, a lot of her work with adults focuses on improving emotional well-being, recalibrating work-life balance, and boosting productivity.
