Tuna Bereket, M.A.
Tuna is a DHA-licensed Allied Health Counselor. She obtained her B.A. degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at SWPS University in Poland. In therapy, she advocates for building an open-minded, empathetic, and trustworthy client-therapist relationship, providing a safe and confidential space for her patients to talk and work through the difficulties and challenges they face.
Tuna is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults and adolescents. She has also completed some couples training in the Gottman Method. Tuna is a member of the Europe Psychological Association and a member of the EMDR/EMDRIA Association in Turkey and in Europe. She has a wealth of cross-cultural experiences having worked with individuals from different ethnic backgrounds.
